The primary activity of our churches is the worship of Jesus Christ. You can’t grow grapes after you have plucked them off the vine! Instead, they become like a raisin in the sun, to quote Langston Hughes. Similarly, you can’t develop as a Christian if you are separated from a worshiping community which is Scripture-centred. Psalm 29:2 declares, "Worship the Lord in Holy Splendour." (NRSV). When Jesus was tempted by the devil to divert His worship to Satan in order to gain all the kingdoms of the world, Jesus responded by quoting the Book of Deuteronomy, "Worship the Lord your God, and serve only Him" (Luke 4:8, NRSV). We offer two worship services each Sunday.

Let’s be realistic. With the advent of the automobile, most people drive past a church to get to their church. What is special about Little River is that if you are an early bird you can worship at Little River and be freed up to do something else the remainder of the day.
